How does pricing work?

I am interested in hair and makeup for my wedding. How do I reserve a date?

With so many details to put in place, brides these days are booking services earlier and earlier. In order to ensure availability, I recommend booking hair/makeup at least 4 to 6 months prior to the wedding date. Some brides reserve dates as far as a year in advance. Once availability has been confirmed, a consultation/trial can be arranged and a deposit placed in order to book your date.

Why do you recommend a hair and makeup trial?

A consultation/trial is strongly suggested for all interested brides as each bride is different and every wedding is unique. During this meeting (preferably 3 to 4 months prior to the wedding), we will discuss the overall ‘look’ that you would like to achieve, taking in to consideration the dress, the venue, and your individual style. I encourage brides to bring a collection of hair and makeup photos for inspiration as well as any veils, clips, flowers, etc. they might want to use on wedding day. Some brides like to schedule the trial on the same day as a wedding shower, engagement photos, or a night out with girlfriends in order to enjoy the beautiful results of the styling session.

Do you style large wedding parties?

Yes, in addition to bridal services, I offer hairstyling and makeup for bridesmaids, mothers of the bride/groom, flower girls, etc. Depending on timing and the size of the wedding party, I may bring additional stylists to assist.

Do you travel/provide on-location services?

Yes, though based in San Francisco, I frequently travel to locations outside the Bay Area for an additional travel fee. For ultimate convenience, bridal styling services are provided on location.

What products do you use?

Each client is unique. I tailor my services and the products I use to meet the needs of each individual client. Products I use include: Laura Mercier, MAC cosmetics, NARS, Makeup Forever, Yves Saint Laurent, Bobbi Brown, and Benefit. Hair products include Bumble and Bumble, Kenra, Kerastase, Shu Uemura.

Do you include false eyelashes? What about airbrush makeup?

Yes, custom false eyelashes are included in the bridal makeup application. Even the most natural look is enhanced with the addition of false lashes. I prefer the natural look of traditional makeup to that of airbrush techniques. I choose the appropriate products for each client and custom blend foundations to create a long lasting, flawless finish.
